I visited animation, VFX and post-production studio Storm Studio today. They have rcently worked on this year’s Oscar-winning Peter and the Wolf, for which they supervised the VFX work, grading, offline and online editing of the film, as well as the foley and sound mix. They were also deeply involved in the production of the 3D animated feature film Free Jimmy. I have a friend working on a placement there, and it was interesting to see how they worked. Each and every one concentrating on their defined area of the process.

Tomorrow I’m attending a Monogram Workshop with Type Director Ken Barber from House Industries. Hopefully I’ll pick up some good advice and neat tricks.
